Reaffirming its long-standing commitment to sustainable cocoa and forest conservation, Touton’s latest Cocoa & Forests Initiative (CFI) Progress Report highlights tangible impact across Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana. In the 2023–2024 crop year alone, over 705,000 community members benefited from Touton and its clients’ sustainability programmes. 

Featuring key performance indicators and real-life case studies, the report demonstrates how collaboration, operational intelligence, and targeted innovation are delivering results across all three CFI pillars: forest protection, sustainable production, and community engagement. 

🌱 At the heart of this progress are collaborative landscape approaches and empowered communities, driving the adoption of agroforestry, financial inclusion, and greater climate resilience.

As an active member of the Cocoa and Forests Initiative (CFI), we collaborate with our clients and partners to address challenges in the three CFI priority areas of Forest protection and restoration, Sustainable production and farmers’ livelihoods, Community engagement and social inclusion. We are proud to release our Sustainability Report 2022-2023! In its 175th anniversary year, the Touton Group once again demonstrates its ability to adapt in the face of yet another distinctive year, highlighting its resilience and agility. The release of its 2022-2023 sustainability report serves as a testament to the group’s ability to confront new challenges: by adjusting its business strategy to overtake sustainability and compliance requirements, and by investing in climate-friendly solutions, whilst strengthening its collaboration with partner producers. 

Touton is constantly strengthening its capacity to build a sustainable cocoa supply chain that protects the forest. As active members of the Cocoa and Forests Initiative (CFI), our efforts are led jointly with our clients, public and private partners in producing countries, to protect tropical forests, boost sustainable agricultural production and improve communities’ engagement and livelihoods. We are proud to release our CFI Progress reports for Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire, including key figures and testimonials about those agroforestry, forest restoration, or income diversification projects that are making a difference.
